1977 Casavant Frères opus 3340
The First Presbyterian Church of Ferguson, Missouri was the original home of the Casavant Frères opus 3340, originally constructed in 1977. Recently, the congregation decided to move in a different direction with their worship and put their instrument up for sale. Salem Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin purchased the organ. In June of 2023, we undertook the deconstruction and careful packing of the Casavant and brought it to our workshop in Champaign for safekeeping. Currently, appropriate modifications are made to the balcony to accommodate it at Salem Lutheran. Once they are complete, we will take the organ and erect it in its new home!
