Console renovation and control system installation on the 1973 Schantz Organ Company, Opus 1225.
The 1973 Schantz Opus 1225 is one of the largest pipe organs in the city of Decatur. The organ was due to receive a console renovation and new control system under the aegis of another firm. We acquired this project mid-stream and are currently seeing it through to completion. Our tasks for this project include:
-Installation of new drawknob units.
-Manufacturing a new drawknob jamb to accomodate new drawknobs.
-Installing a new Peterson console control system.
